Setup Notes
The medicine dropper for Activity 7 must float in water; some droppers with large squeeze bulbs sink. A Life brand medicine dropper from Shopper’s Drug Mart works well. The beaker must be somewhat taller than the length of the medicine dropper.
The boat of Activity 9 should be only a bit smaller than the tank. The weight should be such that the boat just floats when the weight is in it.
Although the students will only need a small quantity of masking tape, it is easier to just give them a roll.
